Credit Bureau Contact Information
Keeping track of your credit report is a good idea for everyone, but it can be especially important for people who have recently been through a bankruptcy. Making sure that discharged debts show paid in full and that all other information is accurate often requires diligent monitoring of your credit report for several months after you receive your discharge.
Federal law entitles you to receive one free copy of your credit report from each of the three major credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) once every 12 months. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has set up a website, www.annualcreditreport.com, that allows you to obtain these credit reports. Other services also offer free credit reports, including www.freecreditreport.com.
Below you will find complete contact information for Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, as well as links to their websites.
